If you are taking the time and trouble of going to India, do you really want to be weighted down with e-mails, Facebook, Twitter and – I dread to say it – your money generator (office!!)? No. So dont take your computer.
India is well connected by a multitude of internet cafes where you can take your own laptop and connect to the World Wide Web. Or use local computers and use your memory device should you wish to refer to your own documentation. Speeds vary, but are often quite fast.
You can access the World Wide Web through your room or a business center. Here the speeds might be faster and the working environment clean and peaceful, but would cost many times that of an internet café.
