Our first tour was in 1997, since then grown to be recognised as a dedicated, known and proven provider of custom and pre-packaged tours exploring spirituality and spiritual sites in India, and South East Asia (specifically Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Mayanmar and Cambodia).
What We Offer: Our core strength are custom spiritual tours to India and South East Asia, while arranging individual travel also. We package unique and customized tours on architecture, arts, wild-life, palaces, music, religion, etc. These can be used for fund raising activities, tours led by speakers, specific tours for societies, museums, professional groups, etc.. We have access to eloquent academicians to lead tours or who can offer discourses on spirituality or professions such as music, architecture, the arts, etc. In addition to travel management, we Manage Events in India.
What We Have Achieved: As a recognized tour operator, SJI has arranged and managed travel for more than a thousand people from more than thirty countries who have visited India and South East Asia, either traveling as individuals, in small private parties or being a part of a larger tour.

Deepak Singh, the owner-operator of SJI, was born in New Delhi, India, and worked and lived in North & South India, England and the USA building his career as an engineer. After working as an engineer for over twenty years, he began pursuing his passion to foster personal and cultural growth of others. He is the grandson of HH Maharaja Ranbir Singh, of Jind in the Punjab in India.
In 1993, Deepak helped launch more than 150 products related to traditional (Ayurveda) healthcare products and set up teacher-training and certification programs as President of several companies owned by the author and public-speaker, Dr. Deepak Chopra. He has promoted and managed more than 50 multi-day, multi-hundred people conferences and then worked to facilitate the cultural and spiritual growth of individuals by arranging discretionary travel services to South East Asia and India for hundreds of people from tens of countries.
He read mechanical engineering at the University of Manchester in England and was a Chartered Engineer, Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and a European Engineer. His work was recognised by both the Society of Automotive Engineers and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers. He loves to teach Indian cooking, is Chairman of the Board of Directors of New England Pacific Asia Travel Association, and was a member of the Board of Directors of Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Heritage of Arts of Southasia for whom he has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars.
He has been wholly immersed in aspects of spirituality since 1993 and has been a practicing meditator since 1981.
